BUCKS ARE LOOKIN GOOD
Went out to the lease the evening of the 4th for a drive-around to scout some of this years prospects for wall hangers. in the 30 minutes that we drove around, 8 bucks, 9 does, 2 fawns and a fairly large rat snake were seen. Of the 8 bucks 3 were nice deer with large antlers. 2 sitting an inch outside the ears (remember that it is only july 4) and one that was approx three inches outside the ears. the rest of the bucks were typical 6 and 8 pointers, but still nice deer. Hope this gets all of you guys's blood to boilin.

I also took a drive, mine was on July 2nd, and I was excited that I saw afourteen does and a buck in velvet with four points about ear width. I guess I just have low standards.
THE LARGEST WE SAW WAS 10+ POINTS AND THICK IN VELVET HEE HEE I HOPE I MEET HIM AGAIN
I saw 2 does, 3 coyotes, 1 bobcat, a buffalo, 1,000,000,000,000,000 dove, and 17,zillion quail, and about 52 1/2 phesants. I also got a new hunt spot south of Wichata Falls, I just need to get permission. Went road-trippin in the area doin a buncha site visits on about a dozen country grain elevators, hence the birds. Also to a pork hatchery and may have an in on some bang bang action there.
what exactly is a pork hatchery?
sorry, swine farm. Similar to a trout hachery sans the fish and water, in their place insert pigs and pens.
